Changing climates cause and effect
During this activity (part of a ThoughtBox Education series), learners travel back in time to look at the Industrial Revolution, exploring fossils fuels and their contribution to global warming.
Learners will think critically about what fossil fuels are and how humans use them. They'll develop empathy through considering how fossil fuel use links to climate change. Finally, they learn to think in systems through exploring how some modern human habits have resulted in increased use of fossil fuels. Learners engage in a wide range of learning stimulus, discussion ideas and creative exercises.
