Extreme weather shelter
What is extreme weather? What impacts does it have on your community? In this activity, learners take on the role of engineers tasked to build a shelter and prepare it against two different types of extreme weather. It is a great opportunity for learners to work together, applying their weather knowledge to find a practical solution. The activity can be used in KS2, or KS1 with additional support for each group.
