Invite people to your Nature Park
You should be proud of what you have achieved, and other people need to see it! Why not invite members of your local community – parents, guardians, community leaders, local press and any other connections you might have – along to your school, nursery or college to show them all of your amazing work. We’ve created some invitation templates to help you invite people along via letter or email.

Dear <insert name here>,
At <insert name of school>, we’ve been taking part in the National Education Nature Park. This programme is part of the Department for Education’s Climate Change and Sustainability Strategy, with young people leading the way in creating a network of green spaces in schools, colleges and nurseries across the country.
Here at <insert name of school> we’ve been taking part by turning our ‘grey’ spaces green, to improve our outdoor space for both people and wildlife. We’ve done this through <insert what you have done here – perhaps you have created a habitat map of your site or created a new habitat such as through building a green wall or installing planters>.
We are uploading all of the changes we have made and wildlife data we have collected to the Nature Park website. The collective difference being made is displayed on an online map and is being studied by scientists to see the impact we are all having.
<Here is a good place to add any benefits you have seen in your school, nursery or college – how has the Nature Park impacted staff and students, what does your space feel or look like now, and why are you enjoying taking part?>
We’d love to invite you along to see the results of our work this year and hear about our future plans! Please join us <insert any information about visiting here>.
We can’t wait to continue our Nature Park journey and do our part with others across the country to make a difference for nature.
Best wishes,
<insert name here>.
