Writing the world poetry
In this KS3 poetry resource, learners discuss the impact of climate change on the planet and society, as well as young people’s responses to the issue. Through reading a poem and writing their own, this resource develops learner’s understanding of the impact of climate change, collective action and social prescribing. They will learn about the second person in poetry and practice using poetic devices.
This resource has been developed by the Poetry Society in line with the National Curriculum to facilitate creative poetry writing about key issues.
